I forced the last stone into its position; I plastered it up. Against the new masonry I re-erected the old rampart of bones. For the half of a century no mortal has disturbed them.

The Cask of Amontillado

It’s an excerpt from a short story written by Edgar Allan Poe. Heard its the best of his works. I didn’t know the meaning of a cask and found out it means a barrel of wine. ‘Amontillado’ is a wine produced in Spain.
